There is a consensus in research, practice and policy that Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority communities are ‘locked out’ of the outdoors and that organisational and interpersonal barriers limit access and engagement with nature. Working co-creatively with Dadima (Community Interest Company, CIC), UK ethnic minorities communities, and with the PLANET4B consortium more broadly, we aim to establish more inclusive and diverse approaches to the governance and stewardship of green space for the benefit of both nature and society alike.
