Forum Urbanes Gärtnern

Based in Graz, Forum Urbanes Gärtnern (FUG) is a non-governmental organisation/civil society organisation that is actively engaged in a diverse range of initiatives related to social gardening and urban food. It operates the ‘Central Office of Gardening’ in Graz, which is a consulting center, a place for further education and knowledge transfer, as well as a network hub, where initiatives are supported. FUG also advocates for improvements in the framework conditions for these initiatives and for sustainable management of urban green space. In Planet4B, FUG aims at increasing biodiversity and inclusive access to biodiversity through the establishment of a regional learning community “Biodiverse edible city of Graz”.
